In 1993, Chinese President Jiang Zemin made an official tour of the factory.
By this point the market was convinced by the high quality of Egyptian tiles, which were also 50% less than the cost of Italian tiles.
In 1995, Ceramica Cleopatra successfully entered the Japanese market, where the demands for standards of quality are extremely high.
